We are proud to partner with Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a skilled Clinical Embryologist for a 15-month fixed-term contract within the Fertility department at The Priory Hospital in Birmingham.
Provide efficient and skilled embryology and andrology services across all aspects of infertility treatment, including IVF inseminations, ICSI, and embryo transfers.
Train and mentor junior embryologists, supporting their professional development in accordance with the HFEA code of conduct.
Maintain strict adherence to laboratory standard operating policies, procedures, and quality assurance frameworks.
Take full responsibility for managing cryopreserved materials, including storage, tracking, expiry, billing, and conducting annual audits.
Ensure precise documentation for all procedures, including sperm donor records, semen storage, and patient notes.
Deliver a patient-centred, caring approach while handling challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
Registration: HCPC Registered Clinical Scientist.
Education: Minimum BSc in Biological Science (theoretical and practical knowledge in Embryology and Semenology).
Experience: Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in human clinical embryology and andrology, backed by a proven track record of successful ICSI procedures and holding an Intracytoplasmic sperm injection licence.
Knowledge: Sound understanding of the HFEA Code of Practice, documentation rules, and quality control systems.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities, strong resilience under pressure, and proven customer care skills when managing sensitive fertility situations.
Competitive Salary: Up to £50,400.00 per year.
