In this full-time clinical leadership role based in Colchester, UK, you will work 37.5 hours per week managing inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy services across musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative cases. You will oversee departmental operations, financial budgets, quality governance, and clinical auditing while leading a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, AHPs, and consultants in Colchester, UK.
Key Responsibilities
Lead operational, clinical, and financial management of the physiotherapy department across inpatient and outpatient services in Colchester, UK.
Provide expert hands-on physiotherapy care while ensuring full compliance with clinical governance, audit protocols, and quality assurance standards in Colchester, UK.
Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals using electronic patient record systems in Colchester, UK.
Requirements
Mandatory BSc degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with active registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in Colchester, UK.
Proven post-qualification clinical physiotherapy experience combined with operational and financial management experience in healthcare in Colchester, UK.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong manual therapy skills, computer literacy, and excellent communication abilities in Colchester, UK.
