As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit an experienced and inspiring Care Leader for Wellford Gardens, our stunning luxury new-build care home in Wheatley, Oxford. Offering 65 en-suite bedrooms, private dining, a cinema, and landscaped gardens, Wellford Gardens provides round-the-clock residential and dementia care within luxurious, state-of-the-art surroundings.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will lead a dedicated team of care assistants to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. Supporting the Home Manager, you will ensure care plans are expertly managed and regularly reviewed, providing residents with a real sense of security, dignity, and independence while empowering your team to excel every day.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of care assistants, fostering a supportive and professional working environment.
Person-Centred Care Plans: Oversee the creation, implementation, and regular evaluation of comprehensive resident care plans.
Quality Assurance: Ensure care standards remain consistently high, promoting residents' safety, dignity, and independence.
Collaboration: Work closely with the management team, healthcare professionals, and families to coordinate holistic support.
Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a residential care setting holding an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or holding Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3).
Leadership Skills: Supervisory experience (such as supporting inductions or mentoring colleagues) is fantastic, though strong natural leadership and initiative are key.
Attributes: A positive role model with exceptional communication skills, capable of staying calm under pressure and resolving queries effectively.
