In this part-time fixed-term role based in Colchester, UK, you will work 24 hours per week acting as the first point of contact for the club. You will greet visitors, handle telephone and face-to-face inquiries, support café operations (preparing and serving food/drinks), manage reception administration using Word and Excel, and assist with covering lifeguard breaks in Colchester, UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, professional, and efficient front-of-house customer service to all club members and visitors in Colchester, UK.

• Assist in the café area with the preparation and service of fresh, healthy food and beverages in Colchester, UK.

• Handle administrative tasks, answer queries face-to-face or via phone, and complete internal pool safety training to cover lifeguard breaks in Colchester, UK.

Requirements

• Strong face-to-face and telephone communication skills with a customer-focused, empathetic attitude in Colchester, UK.

• Basic IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in Colchester, UK.

• Ability to swim to a high standard and willingness to undergo site-based lifeguard training in Colchester, UK.
