About the Role
Are you looking for a stable, active role with a supportive team? As a Warehouse Operative (Days) through Bridge Staffing Agency, you will play a crucial, behind-the-scenes part in keeping the supply chain moving. Working across ambient, chilled, and frozen environments at Bidfood's Paddock Wood depot, you will ensure customer orders are picked accurately and loaded safely so that every delivery departs on time.
Key Responsibilities
Order Preparation: Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently in multi-temperature zones.
Loading & Stock Control: Load vehicles safely and organize products correctly within the warehouse.
Equipment Operation: Safely utilize equipment such as pump trucks, power pallet trucks, and Reach Trucks (full training and safety guidelines provided).
Team Collaboration: Support colleagues and drivers to guarantee a smooth, reliable, and timely daily schedule.
What We Are Looking For
Essential: Reach Truck Experience is required.
Work Ethic: A positive attitude, strong reliability, and great attention to detail.
Physical Fitness: A good level of fitness for an active, hands-on role involving manual handling.
Experience: Previous warehouse or multi-temperature experience is beneficial, though full support is provided.
