Looking for a varied, dynamic full-time care role that offers travel, flexibility, and a chance to make a multi-site impact? Partnering with Barchester Healthcare, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is seeking an experienced and dedicated Peripatetic Care Assistant to travel across a regional cluster of care homes within a 20-mile radius.
In this permanent role, you will deliver warm, empathetic care, monitor care standards on duty, contribute to personalized care plans, and ensure every resident receives meaningful companionship.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 36.00 hours per week (Permanent full-time role)
Shifts: Mixed (Days and Nights as needed)

Note: You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for regional travel.
Travel across a 20-mile radius to deliver warm, respectful, and high-quality care in designated Barchester homes.
Monitor care delivery while on duty and contribute to person-centred care planning.
Record vital observations, including resident temperatures and blood pressure readings.
Ensure every resident enjoys meaningful companionship and dedicated one-to-one time during every shift.
Provide reliable temporary cover across regional locations to support staff and residents.
Previous background and a solid understanding of elderly care.
Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care (advantageous), alongside a good grasp of the wider healthcare industry.
Ideally a GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths.
A dedicated, compassionate nature with a passion for supporting resident wellbeing.
Essential: A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Competitive Pay: £15.00 per hour.
Mileage Covered: Mileage is reimbursed for travel over five miles from your main home.
