About the Role

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a passionate and skilled Market Street Baker for their store in Fleet.

If you are passionate about baking—whether you are a trained baker, have experience working in a bakery or a professional kitchen, and want an opportunity you "doughnut" want to miss—this is the ideal role for you! As the face of our fresh in-store bakery, you will prepare traditional baked goods to company specifications, maintain attractive product displays, and ensure high availability throughout the day.

(Please note: Applicants must be over the school leaver’s age.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Baking & Preparation: Mix, mould, and prepare a variety of fresh bread, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products using appropriate equipment (such as provers, ovens, and mixers).

• Display & Availability: Maintain quality, fresh, and attractive displays of food throughout the trading day to promote sales and ensure product availability.

• Customer Service: Deliver outstanding, friendly, and helpful service, highlighting the traditional skills and fresh products we offer.

• Flexible Support: Enjoy working flexibly across other fresh counters on Market Street to ensure all customer needs are catered for.

About You

We are looking for an energetic and friendly individual who has a true passion for baking and putting customers first.

Essential Requirements:

• Baking Skills: Competent baking experience, with the ability to mix, mould dough, and operate a range of bakery equipment safely while maintaining high health and safety standards.

• Approach: A helpful, friendly, and supportive attitude with a passion for going above and beyond for customers.

• Work Style: Enjoys being active, working in a fast-paced and varied environment, and using initiative to resolve queries.

• Adaptability: Willingness to work flexibly across other fresh counters across Market Street.
