Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of Supportive Bridge Limited for an experienced and specialized Hand/MSK Senior Physiotherapist to join their clinical team at Bournemouth Hospital in Bournemouth, UK.
In this split-specialty role, you will manage a dual caseload spanning both Hand Therapy and Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy. Working 7.5 hours per week on Mondays, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation, fabricate custom splints as needed, and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Role Description
As a Hand/MSK Senior Physiotherapist, you will provide specialized clinical care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative hand cases. Supported by clinical leads and academy training, you will manage patient assessments, design personalized treatment plans, manufacture splints, and maintain compliance with clinical governance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based clinical care and rehabilitation for complex MSK and hand therapy cases, including post-operative care and custom splint fabrication.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize overall patient recovery.
Maintain professional governance standards, participate in clinical audits, and engage in continuous quality assurance and treatment monitoring.
Requirements
BSc degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with active Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
Demonstrable experience managing both MSK and Hand Therapy caseloads, including post-operative care and splinting techniques.
Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD), strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, and IT proficiency.
