Job Title: Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator
Location: Pebble Mill Care Home, 2 Mill Pool Way, Birmingham, B5 7EG
Rate of Pay: £12.75 to £13.75 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Shift pattern 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, including alternate weekends)
We are partnering with Pebble Mill Care Home in Birmingham to find a creative, enthusiastic, and compassionate Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator. As a Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coordinator through Supportive Bridge, you will be the driving force behind enriching daily experiences. You will design, coordinate, and lead engaging activities, build connections with the local community, and bring an infectious enthusiasm that makes every resident's day vibrant, joyful, and full of purpose.
Plan and run morning and afternoon activity sessions tailored to residents, ranging from musical acts and exercise classes to community visitors, arts, crafts, and exciting days out.
Produce, update, and manage the home's activity planner within a set budget.
Organise special birthday surprises, plan events and performers, and coordinate memorable excursions.
Liaise with external companies and local community groups to foster strong community links.
Spend quality one-to-one time with residents using reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, or simply sharing a cup of tea and a chat.
Maintain paperwork, update care plans and activity notes, manage emails, and support the home's social media channels as required.
Assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner duties when necessary.
A creative thinker brimming with fresh ideas, capable of managing budgets, organising schedules, and handling paperwork efficiently.
