HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver Opportunity
Location: Bedford Distribution Centre
Salary/Pay Rate: £18.69 per hour (Weekdays) to £21.31 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Start times available between 00:00 – 01:00 or 01:00 – 02:00)
About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are thrilled to partner with B&M to help you secure an exciting role as an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver at the Bedford Distribution Centre. In this key driving position, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores nationwide receive their deliveries safely, securely, and right on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Deliveries & Collections: Complete store deliveries and collections safely and efficiently across the network.
Compliance & Checks: Conduct thorough vehicle checks and ensure complete adherence to transport legislation.
Administration: Maintain accurate paperwork and tachograph records at all times.
Professional Standards: Uphold exceptional standards of safety and professionalism on every journey.
Requirements & Ideal Candidate Profile
Licence: A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months of driving experience.
Endorsements: No DD or DR endorsements accepted.
Certifications: A valid Driver CPC card (with completed annual CPC modules) and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
