The Role
As a Cleaner, every sweep of your brush helps give our customers the in-store experience they deserve. From maintaining a tidy store to ensuring our hygiene standards are up to the mark, you’ll be an essential part of the team, keeping things looking their best for customers and colleagues alike. You’ll always go the extra mile, ready to roll up your sleeves and take pride in your work.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Presentation: Thoroughly maintain your store to keep it looking its very best.
External Areas: Keep trolley bays, the car park, and outside spaces clean and tidy to make a great first impression.
Equipment Use: Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
Welfare Maintenance: Clean welfare areas, including toilets, waste, and recycling sections.
Minor Maintenance: Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
Health & Safety: Proactively make sure that hygiene, Health, and Safety standards are consistently upheld.
What You’ll Need
Experience: Experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial, though not essential.
Work Ethic: A hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.
Passion: A genuine passion to do the best job for your store and your team.
Drive: The drive and independence to carry out your tasks to the highest ability.
What You’ll Receive
Competitive Pay: £13.45 - £13.65 per hour, with additional shift premiums (£2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for nights).
Holiday Allowance: 30–35 days’ holiday (pro rata).
