Position: Customer Team Member (Part-Time / Permanent)

Location: 66 High Street, Harrold, MK43 7DA

Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

Hours: 14 hours per week + regular overtime opportunities

In this role, you’ll be a familiar and welcoming face in the local community, helping provide essential services—including supporting transactions on our Post Office counters! Whether you’re working on the shop floor, operating tills, or assisting with daily store operations, every shift offers variety and a chance to make a difference.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering Great Service: Providing warm, helpful service and supporting customers with a smile, helping to put things right when needed.

• Store & Post Office Operations: Working hands-on across the shop floor and tills, and supporting transactions on the Post Office counter to keep the store running smoothly, safely, and legally.

• Merchandising & Stock: Keeping shelves well-stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.

• Community & Membership: Promoting Co-op Membership and supporting local community initiatives.

Working Pattern & Requirements

• Hours: 14 hours per week on a permanent contract, plus regular opportunities for overtime.

• Working Pattern: A mix of opening shifts, middle shifts, and closing shifts. At least 2 shifts will be closing and at least 1 will be at the weekend (availability can be discussed further at interview).

• Age Requirement: You must be aged 18 or over for this role as it may involve working before 6:00 AM or after 10:00 PM.

• Commutability: Applicants must live within a commutable distance of Harrold.

• Experience: Retail experience is not necessary—full, paid training is provided from day one!
