About the Role
Are you looking for an active role where you can engage with your local community and be a friendly face for customers? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering to recruit a reliable and customer-focused Customer Team Member - Home Delivery Driver for a busy food store in Glasgow.
In this role, you'll be responsible for picking and packing customer orders, delivering shopping safely to doorsteps, and pitching in around the store when you're not out on the road. It's a varied role that blends driving, customer service, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver with Care: Safely drive delivery vehicles to transport customer orders directly to their doorsteps, representing Co-op with pride.
Vehicle Safety: Conduct daily safety checks to ensure your delivery vehicle is fully compliant and in good working order.
In-Store Support: Lend a hand in the store when off the road—serving on tills, restocking shelves, and assisting colleagues.
Community Engagement: Support local community events and foster positive relationships with customers and teammates alike.
What We Are Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Driving Requirements: A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years with no more than 6 points.
People Skills: Genuine care for customer needs, great communication skills, and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
Flexibility: Availability to work varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing), and weekends.
