We are currently recruiting an Evening Shift Manager on behalf of a leading national food-on-the-go retailer known for its vibrant team culture, supportive workplace environment, and excellent employee perks.
About the Role
As an Evening Shift Manager, you will play an integral role on the store’s leadership team. You’ll step up to manage shop floor operations during afternoon and early evening shifts when the Store Manager is away, keeping the team motivated, organized, and focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
Our client serves customers across multiple channels—in-shop, Click & Collect, delivery, and drive-thru. You will lead by example to make sure every customer receives a fast, friendly, and high-quality service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Engage, inspire, and support team members to achieve great operational results and uphold store standards.
Customer Service: Lead by example by providing fast, warm, and friendly customer service across all ordering channels.
Product Preparation: Assist in preparing food products, including sandwich making and managing baking schedules.
Stock & Merchandising: Ensure display units remain fully stocked, organized, and attractive throughout the shift.
Store Operations: Maintain high standards of hygiene, tidiness, and presentation across the shop floor during afternoon/evening trade.
Candidate Requirements
Supervisory Experience: Previous team leading or supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
Leadership Qualities: Strong communication skills with a natural ability to motivate, lead, and support others.
Shift Availability: Dependable and flexible to work afternoon into evening shifts between 13:00 and 18:30.
