We are currently recruiting an Evening Shift Manager on behalf of a leading nationwide food-on-the-go retailer known for its welcoming store culture, collaborative teams, and great employee benefits.
About the Role
As an Evening Shift Manager, you will lead shift operations during afternoon and early evening hours when the Store Manager is away. You will take the lead on keeping the team engaged, maintaining store efficiency, and providing a top-quality service experience across all channels (in-shop, Click & Collect, delivery, and drive-thru).
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Inspire and guide colleagues to maintain shop standards and deliver excellent customer service.
Customer Care: Serve customers directly in a fast, friendly, and efficient manner.
Product Preparation: Assist with food prep, including baking, operating ovens, and making fresh sandwiches.
Stock Management: Ensure food and beverage displays remain fully stocked and appealing.
Store Operations: Keep the shop floor and counters clean, presentable, and well-organized during evening shifts.
Candidate Requirements
Supervisory Experience: Prior team leading or supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
Leadership Qualities: Strong communication skills and a supportive, proactive management style.
Reliability & Availability: Dependable and available to work evening shifts between 14:00 and 18:30.
