In this full-time leadership role based in Colchester, UK, you will work 37.5 hours per week managing a team of radiology administrators across modern diagnostic imaging modalities (MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, Mammography, Fluoroscopy). You will oversee team rotas, handle appointment bookings, train new staff, ensure compliance with clinical policies, and manage systems such as CRIS, PACS, IEP, and PIMS in Colchester, UK.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and supervise the radiology administration team, managing staff rotas, annual leave, and mandatory training compliance in Colchester, UK.
Oversee patient registration, appointment bookings, referral handling, and coordination with clinical teams and consultants in Colchester, UK.
Maintain expert operational competency with CRIS, PACS, IEP, and PIMS systems while upholding departmental cleanliness and customer service excellence in Colchester, UK.
Requirements
Proven administrative leadership or supervisory experience, ideally within a medical or radiology environment in Colchester, UK.
Working knowledge of clinical/medical terminology and proficiency with healthcare admin systems (CRIS, PACS, IEP, PIMS) in Colchester, UK.
Outstanding communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to lead a team effectively under pressure in Colchester, UK.
