In this full-time perioperative role based in Colchester, UK, you will work 37.5 hours per week (including weekend rotation and on-call duties) delivering evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary surgical team. You will utilize advanced medical technology, assist across varied clinical specialties in scrub roles, support junior team members, and ensure high quality patient experiences in Colchester, UK.
Provide high-quality, evidence-based perioperative care across a diverse patient caseload within multidisciplinary surgical teams in Colchester, UK.
Utilize advanced surgical technology and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to clinical safety and infection control standards in Colchester, UK.
Supervise, mentor, and support junior colleagues while participating in weekend work and on-call rotas in Colchester, UK.
Active registration with the NMC (Registered Nurse) or HCPC (Operating Department Practitioner) in Colchester, UK.
Proven post-registration scrub experience within a theatre environment in Colchester, UK.
Desirable experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery, paired with strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills in Colchester, UK.
Competitive pay rate equivalent up to £20.38 per hour depending on experience for 37.5 hours per week in Colchester, UK.
