Location: Hurstwood View Care Home, Linum Lane, Uckfield, TN22 3FH
Salary: £55,000.00 per annum + £2,000 Golden Hello Bonus
Hours: 40.00 hours per week (Days)
Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
As the Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of outstanding care. Working closely with the General Manager—and taking charge in their absence—you will lead by example to motivate a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure premier care standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks.
Guide and inspire your team to help residents enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Develop and deliver impactful strategies to achieve clinical and operational goals.
About You
To thrive in this energetic and rewarding environment, you will bring:
Registration: Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN/RMN).
Qualifications: A teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.
Experience: A strong background in meeting diverse resident health needs, managing safeguarding investigations, and conducting clinical risk assessments.
Skillset: Working knowledge of HR, budget management, sales/marketing, and a proven history of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
Personality: Compassionate, resilient, and deeply committed to quality care.
