About the Role

As a permanent Kitchen Assistant at Hurstwood View, you will help provide the first-class food and hospitality that enable us to give our residents exceptional all-round care and support.

A healthy, nutritious diet is vital to resident wellbeing. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, maintain high hygiene standards, and help create a fulfilling dining experience. Your impact extends beyond the kitchen, giving you wonderful opportunities to build relationships with residents and enhance their daily hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking support, and kitchen operations.

• Maintain rigorous standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.

• Support the catering team in delivering exceptional, person-centred dining experiences.

• Interact warmly with residents, building positive relationships and noting individual preferences.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team on a permanent part-time contract (30 hours per week).
