Position: Lead Clinical Psychologist (Permanent Role)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Circle Rehabilitation in Birmingham—part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit an experienced Lead Clinical Psychologist for their specialized Psychology department.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 22.5 hours a week on a flexible shift pattern. In this senior leadership role, you will provide strategic direction for psychological services, drive evidence-based and patient-centred practice, and deliver expert psychological interventions for patients facing complex neurological, psychological, and physical health conditions.
Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for psychological services across the Rehabilitation Centre and relevant care pathways.
Clinical Excellence: Act as the senior clinical psychology lead to guarantee safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred practices.
Specialist Care: Deliver expert psychological assessments and interventions for patients managing neurological, psychological, and physical health challenges.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and nurture a dedicated team of psychologists, trainees, and assistants, overseeing professional supervision, appraisals, and development.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure all psychological operations strictly comply with HCPC and BPS standards, safeguarding policies, and Circle Health Group governance frameworks.
Service Innovation: Drive advancements in rehabilitation psychology by pioneering and embedding new, evidence-based clinical practices.
Qualifications: Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) recognized by the HCPC.
Registration: Current HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical).
Experience: Significant post-qualification experience working within neuropsychology, complex rehabilitation, or physical health settings.
Leadership: Demonstrated background in managing psychology services, programs, or multidisciplinary teams.
Clinical Expertise: Deep proficiency in neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, and therapeutic models (e.g., CBT, ACT, systemic approaches).
Knowledge Base: Strong insight into the psychological impacts of neurological conditions, trauma, and physical disability.
Professional Skills: Proven service development, audit, and research experience, with the ability to influence at senior levels and collaborate within a complex MDT.
Competitive Pay: Pro-rata starting salary of up to £66,000.00 FTE per year based on your experience and qualifications.
