About the Role
We are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant (HCA) on a permanent basis on behalf of Wellesley Hospital in Wellington, Somerset, a purpose-built 101-bed hospital supporting men and women with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and autism.
Working a 12.5-hour shift pattern (including a 1-hour break) across a monthly day/night rotation (averaging 3-4 days a week), you will be key to supporting patients both physically and emotionally. Your day-to-day will involve participating in ward rounds, analyzing behaviours with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing hands-on care—including personal hygiene—to help individuals along their recovery pathway.
