Position: Night Care Leader / Bank Care Team Leader
Location: Wing View Care Centre, Church Street, Wing, Leighton Buzzard, LU7 0NY (Positioned in a peaceful neighbourhood close to local amenities)
Pay Rate: £14.94 per hour
Contract Type: Bank / Flexible (0 Hours - Shift pattern: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM / Night shifts as required)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit an experienced and dedicated Bank / Relief Night Care Leader for the brand-new Wing View Care Centre. Conveniently located in Wing Village—just three miles from Leighton Buzzard and five miles from Aylesbury—Wing View offers welcoming, relaxing surroundings where residents live life to the fullest.
As a Night Care Leader, you will play a vital leadership role through the night hours. Leading a small team of carers, you will maintain a wakeful watch over the security and safety of our residents and the home, ensuring care plans are rigorously maintained, records are accurate, and your team is effectively supported.
Night Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor your night care team, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring the highest standards of care.
Safety & Security: Maintain a wakeful watch to ensure the absolute safety, security, and wellbeing of residents and the home throughout the night.
Care Planning & Records: Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and that all night-time records are meticulously maintained.
Resident Wellbeing: Provide comforting personal care, emotional support, and reassurance, ensuring residents feel safe, valued, and respected.
Experience & Qualifications: An NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3), alongside previous experience in leading a care team.
Personality: A positive role model with a natural ability to connect with others, lead by example, and handle night shifts with a calm, reassuring presence.
