In this part-time bank role based in Colchester, UK, you will work on an ad-hoc basis (including weekend coverage) according to business needs and your availability. Working within a multidisciplinary team alongside leading consultants, you will provide clinical support across anaesthetics and recovery, manage varied surgical caseloads, and supervise junior staff in Colchester, UK.
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to surgical patients throughout the anaesthetic and recovery phases in Colchester, UK.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and ward staff to ensure seamless continuity of care in Colchester, UK.
Supervise, support, and mentor junior staff while maintaining clinical effectiveness and safety standards in Colchester, UK.
Active registration as a Registered Nurse with the NMC or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with the HCPC in Colchester, UK.
Proven post-registration experience in theatre nursing, specifically within anaesthetics and post-anaesthetic care/recovery in Colchester, UK.
Outstanding communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and flexibility to work ad-hoc shifts including weekends in Colchester, UK.
Competitive pay rate equivalent up to £28.00 per hour depending on experience with flexible ad-hoc working hours in Colchester, UK.
