Rate of Pay: £12.80 to £13.80 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (18-hour contract)
Working Patterns: Choice of shifts: 7:30am - 1:30pm OR 8:00am - 2:00pm
About the Role
We are partnering with Copper Beech Care Home in Uckfield to find a detail-oriented and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant on a permanent, part-time contract. As a Housekeeping Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will have a real knack for tidying up and a passion for helping others, making a daily difference by creating a warm, clean, and welcoming environment where every detail counts and residents feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain exceptionally high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
Ensure residents are kept happy by vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and overseeing the general upkeep of all communal areas and residents' bedrooms.
Maintain housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use and raise any issues or supply needs promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
