Kitchen Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Kitchen Assistant to join their care home team in Bournemouth, UK. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone with a passion for food preparation and delivering excellent dining experiences for residents. You will support the kitchen team by maintaining high food hygiene standards and helping provide nutritious, high-quality meals in a welcoming care home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, food plating, and serving while supporting the kitchen team.

• Maintain clean and organised food preparation areas in line with hygiene and safety regulations.

• Help with stock rotation and support catering for special events and resident activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service and maintaining high hygiene standards.
