Ward Clerk (Preoperative Assessment & Outpatients)
Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone, Kent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Permanent
Shifts: Flexible shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM, Monday to Saturday
Salary: £24,784.50 per annum

We are currently recruiting a friendly and motivated Ward Clerk to join the Preoperative Assessment and Outpatients Team at KIMS Hospital, Kent’s largest independent hospital.

Assist with the smooth running of clinics by handling administrative tasks, booking in patients, and inputting accurate details onto the patient administration system.
Maintain complete patient documentation within single case notes, retrieving medical records and updating pre-assessment data when required.
Welcome patients and visitors warmly, always respecting their dignity, privacy, wishes, and beliefs.
Liaise professionally with NHS hospitals, GP surgeries, and other healthcare providers regarding patient care.
Support patients in utilizing LifeBox, the digital preoperative platform used for patient assessments.

Experience working within the healthcare sector or a high-pressured administrative role in another industry (acute hospital or pre-assessment experience is a wonderful bonus!).
