Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic, patient, and customer-focused Fitness Instructor to join our wellness spa team. In this key role, you will play a crucial part in promoting health, wellness, and an active lifestyle among our residents, designing and leading tailored exercise programs that enhance physical fitness, mobility, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct engaging fitness classes in the Spa, including specialist classes and 1-to-1 sessions for care floor residents, alongside necessary administration.
Assist members in setting and achieving fitness goals, ensuring all Wellness Spa users receive clear instruction for safe exercise.
Maintain accurate member health records, ensuring full awareness of health statuses and updates prior to each appointment.
Support membership retention, drive active participation, and promote events, fitness challenges, and group activities to foster a fun-filled community atmosphere.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience and professional qualifications in instructing fitness classes are essential (as this role requires teaching multiple classes per shift).
Previous experience working in spas or the fitness industry, along with a pool responder qualification and pool plant experience, is highly desirable.
Great patience, exceptional customer service, and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude.
