As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Edingley Lodge Care Home, you will provide vital cover—such as for annual leave or sick leave—while ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centred care. Your role will involve supervising a dedicated team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager and supporting the clinical team with medication, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and inspire a dedicated team of Care Assistants.
Clinical Support: Assist the clinical team in specialised areas such as medication administration, care assessments, care plans, and reviews.
Person-Centred Care: Safeguard the dignity, preferences, and individual needs of every resident while fostering a warm, vibrant home environment.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Knowledge: Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
Personality: Warm-hearted, compassionate, and deeply committed to individualised care.
Skills: Strong motivational, communication, and leadership abilities, with a clear drive for continuous professional growth.
