About the Role
We are recruiting a permanent, part-time Food & Beverage Assistant to join the hospitality team at Edingley Lodge Care Home in Newark.
In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in creating a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable dining experience for residents, families, and visitors. Working 12 hours per week on day shifts, you will collaborate closely with the kitchen and care teams to serve nutritious meals, present dining areas beautifully, and ensure meal times are a delightful part of every resident's day.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and set up dining areas to ensure a comfortable, attractive, and hygienic environment.
Serve meals, snacks, and refreshments to residents, visitors, and families with a friendly and caring approach.
Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining clean work stations.
Follow food hygiene standards, health and safety regulations, and resident dietary requirements.
Interact warmly with residents during mealtimes, promoting a positive and engaging dining atmosphere.
About You
