We are currently recruiting an organized, reliable, and highly capable Retail Shift Manager (Night Shift) to oversee operations at a major, fast-growing supermarket hub in Bath.

Taking charge of the night shift means you are the driving force behind maintaining high store standards day after day, night after night. You will step up to run operations, motivate a sizable team, manage inventory, and ensure the shop floor is perfectly prepped and ready for business. What You’ll Earn & Receive

• Hourly Rate: £15.45 - £15.95 per hour

• Night Shift Premium: An additional £3.50 per hour for hours worked overnight!

• Bank Holidays: An extra £2.00 per hour.

• Holiday: 30–35 days of annual leave (pro rata).

What You’ll Do

• Lead the Night Shift: Motivate, support, and delegate tasks to your team to achieve targets in a bustling environment.

• Store Operations: Manage inventory, freshness checks, cash processes, and stock replenishment to keep the store running like clockwork.

• Operational Control: Confidently manage store routines and lead colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.

• Problem Solving: Swiftly solve logistical and operational problems on your feet, creating a supportive workspace where your team can succeed.

• Customer Readiness: Ensure the store is exceptionally well-merchandised to give customers the very best experience the moment the doors open.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience leading and motivating a sizable team to hit targets in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.

• The capability to effectively delegate tasks and stay completely calm under pressure.

• A friendly, patient manner paired with strong, clear communication skills.

• A proactive, encouraging approach to help your colleagues develop themselves and improve operations.

• Comfort and experience working, or leading teams, during night shift hours.
