As a Therapeutic Community Clinical Lead within our Justice and Immigration psychological services team at HMP Dovegate, you will lead and shape a high-performing Therapeutic Community. You will ensure the consistent delivery of accredited, high-quality psychological interventions that support lasting behavioral change and resident rehabilitation.
This is a senior clinical leadership role with real reach and purpose, empowering you to embed Therapeutic Community principles and cultivate a safe, effective, and values-led environment for both staff and residents.
Team Leadership: Lead, line manage, and support a multi-disciplinary clinical team to ensure safe, ethical, and effective therapeutic delivery.
Governance & Accreditation: Maintain rigorous accreditation, quality assurance, and governance standards across the Therapeutic Community.
Clinical Supervision: Provide expert clinical leadership, professional supervision, and continuous development to clinical colleagues.
Therapeutic Delivery: Oversee the delivery of psychodynamic or integrative psychotherapeutic interventions aligned with accredited core models.
Collaborative Operations: Partner closely with operational colleagues to ensure seamless, integrated custodial and clinical operations while monitoring contractual KPIs.
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate clinical professional ready to make a tangible difference in a secure therapeutic environment.
Professional Qualifications: A recognised professional qualification and registration in psychotherapy; clinical, counselling, or forensic psychology; or group analysis.
Experience: Significant post-qualification experience within forensic or secure mental health settings.
Leadership Background: Proven track record leading or supervising clinicians within a therapeutic setting.
Model Expertise: Strong awareness of Therapeutic Community models, paired with the ability to work using psychodynamic or integrative psychotherapy approaches.
Core Competencies: Confidence making complex clinical decisions and influencing across professional boundaries.
