Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a friendly, motivated, and passionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Band 7) to join their well-established Adult Community Mental Health Team based in scenic Skipton.
In this rewarding role, you will work across a varied rural and town patch supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs. You will manage complex clinical presentations through thorough assessment, physical checks, care planning, risk management, and autonomous medication prescribing, all while working collaboratively within a warm, supportive multidisciplinary team.
Clinical Assessments & Prescribing: Conduct physical health checks, instigate and interpret clinical investigations, and prescribe medication in line with NICE guidance, NMC standards, and Trust policies.
Caseload & Care Management: Manage and monitor complex presentations within the Craven CMHT, providing holistic, recovery-focused care in partnership with service users, families, and carers.
Autonomous Practice: Plan and prioritise a clinical workload safely and effectively while demonstrating a high level of advanced clinical examination and history-taking skills.
Leadership & Collaboration: Work as part of the team leadership structure, provide support and cover for the Team Leader, and build effective professional networks across external agencies.
Qualifications:
Mental Health Nurse Qualification (RN 1st Level) with active NMC registration, AND
Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification, AND
Completed accredited courses enabling Advanced Practitioner registration.
Experience: Proven clinical experience working with people with complex health needs, conducting investigations, and initiating appropriate care plans for mental ill health.
Skills & Knowledge: High level of clinical skill with in-depth knowledge of clinical examination, history-taking, pharmacology, pathophysiology, and primary/secondary care frameworks.
Requirements: Appropriate UK professional registration and a commitment to maintaining the legal Right to Work in the UK.
