Are you an experienced, ambitious Registered General Nurse looking for an empowering leadership role where you can take a care unit from strength to strength?
As a Unit Nurse Manager (RGN) at Oak Grange Care Home, you will use your compassion and initiative to plan, manage, and monitor the delivery of top-tier nursing care. You will implement person-centred care plans, plan rotas, recruit, train, and mentor staff, and build strong professional relationships with local regulators and social services. Clinical Leadership: Plan, manage, and monitor the delivery of comprehensive nursing care, ensuring all residents' physical, psychological, and social needs are met.
Team Mentorship: Lead, recruit, train, and mentor staff, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorships.
Care Planning & Compliance: Implement person-centred care plans, conduct risk assessments, and maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks (including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with local regulators, social services, and families.
Qualifications: Current NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active PIN.
Experience: Proven experience producing well-developed care plans and risk assessments, backed by a strong track record of delivering quality improvements.
Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks.
Leadership: Natural leadership abilities with experience acting as a clinical mentor. Dedicated, resilient, and ambitious.
Competitive Pay: Outstanding hourly rate of £22.90 per hour for a secure 36-hour weekly permanent contract.
