About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Camden Health Evolution (CHE) Ltd—the GP Federation supporting the Central Camden Primary Care Network (PCN)—to source an experienced, motivated, and highly organised PCN Projects & Operations Manager. In this pivotal role, you will work across a diverse portfolio of projects and services, collaborating with member practices (serving approximately 80,000 patients), clinicians, and system partners to drive innovation, improve operational effectiveness, and secure better healthcare outcomes for the local population.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Line Management: Direct line management of Project Officers and Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) staff, including social prescribers and nutritional therapists, ensuring high performance, proper supervision, and effective operational delivery.
Project Management & Delivery: Lead the scoping, initiation, delivery, implementation, and evaluation of PCN and Federation projects from start to finish, establishing mobilisation plans, setting milestones, managing risks, and producing executive reports.
Operational Management: Provide day-to-day operational oversight, coordinate problem-solving across multi-disciplinary teams, and streamline logistical requirements and new systems.
Stakeholder & Financial Management: Lead meetings with external commissioners and stakeholders, oversee project expenditure to ensure value for money, and contribute to funding bids and business cases.
Performance Monitoring: Collate and analyse performance, activity, and workforce data to support governance, statutory returns, and strategic decision-making.
Person Specification & Requirements
Qualifications & Knowledge: Educated to degree level (or possessing significant equivalent experience) with a solid understanding of project management principles and working knowledge of the NHS landscape, primary care structures, and clinical governance. (Post-graduate management degrees, PRINCE2, or NHS Leadership qualifications are highly desirable).
Experience: Extensive experience working within the NHS, specifically in or closely tied to Primary Care, alongside proven expertise in handling confidential information, risk management, and coordinating projects in complex environments.
Core Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, robust IT capabilities (Microsoft Office), strong time management, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
