St Joseph's Hospice in Hackney is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the team on one of its two inpatient wards. You would give hands-on care to people near the end of life and support their families, working alongside nurses, doctors and therapists.
Pay and hours: Band 2: £30,363. 37.5 hours per week, inpatient wards. Closing date: 9 Nov 2026.

Some caring experience, paid or voluntary
Good communication and people skills
Works well as part of a team
Able to care for people approaching the end of life
Basic knowledge of infection control, nutrition and hydration, and health and safety
