Bupa's Manley Court Care Home in New Cross, south-east London, wants a Senior Care Assistant on days. You would run a care unit day to day, lead the care assistants and handovers, and help the nurse with medicines, care plans and records, while building good links with families, GPs and district nurses.

Pay and hours: £11.95 to £13.54 per hour. Permanent, full or part time, days, alternate weekends. No closing date shown.

• NVQ Level 3 in care, done or in progress (support offered)

• Previous experience in a care role

• Able to train, supervise and support new staff
