About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with DoctorPA Secure LTD to source a dedicated Employee Wellbeing Specialist. Operating in secure healthcare environments since 2014—and expanding to provide comprehensive healthcare services at Manston STHF and Western Jet Foil under their core CARE ethos (Compassionate, Assurance, Respectful, Empowerment)—DoctorPA Secure is committed to staff safety and mental health. In this pivotal strategic and operational role, you will champion staff wellbeing, drive positive organizational culture, and embed resilience initiatives for staff working in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive wellbeing strategy, identifying operational risks like stress, fatigue, and trauma exposure while advising senior leadership.
Program Design & Delivery: Design proactive and reactive wellbeing initiatives, including mental health workshops, stress management, fitness and physical health programs, and critical incident crisis response plans.
Individual Support: Serve as a confidential first point of contact for staff, providing guidance, emotional support, return-to-work support, and effective service signposting.
Policy & Compliance: Maintain wellbeing policies, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and track metrics like absenteeism, engagement, and staff satisfaction.
Culture & Engagement: Champion a trauma-informed, inclusive culture, working closely with HR, operational managers, and external providers (such as EAPs and Occupational Health).
Person Specification & Requirements
Professional Experience: Proven background in employee wellbeing, occupational health, HR, or organizational development, with strong knowledge of mental health and resilience programs.
Core Competencies: Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills; high level of discretion and confidentiality; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Residency Requirement: Due to clearance requirements, applicants must have been continuously resident in the United Kingdom for the last 5 years (with no more than a 28-day break outside the UK and no employment gaps).
Vetting & Compliance: Subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and successful completion of the Counter Terrorism Clearance (CTC) process.
