The Role
As a Cleaner at Lidl, every sweep of your brush helps give our customers the fantastic in-store experience they deserve right from day one. From maintaining a tidy store and pristine car parks to ensuring hygiene standards are top-notch, you’ll be an essential part of the team. You’ll always go the extra mile, ready to roll up your sleeves and get the job done in a brand-new store environment.
What You’ll Do:
Store Maintenance: Thoroughly maintain the store to keep it looking its absolute best.
External Areas: Keep the trolley bays, car park, and outside spaces clean and tidy to make a great first impression.
Machinery & Equipment: Confidently operate industrial cleaning machinery.
Welfare Areas: Clean welfare areas, including toilets, waste, and recycling sections.
Minor Maintenance: Carry out minor maintenance tasks when needed.
Safety & Hygiene: Proactively ensure that hygiene, health, and safety standards are strictly upheld.
What You’ll Need
Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial, but not essential.
Work Ethic: A hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.
Passion & Drive: The passion to do the best job for your store and team, along with the independence to carry out tasks to the best of your ability.
