Key Responsibilities
Provide a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities to promote residents' physical, psychological, and social wellbeing.
Identify the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to build detailed, meaningful life stories.
Plan and submit monthly activity and wellbeing plans, alongside weekly overviews, to the Home Manager.
Arrange diverse activities, events, and outings, actively encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
Maintain a safe living and working environment that contributes to a positive, professional image of the home.
Person Specification & Requirements
Experience: Essential previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing or dementia care setting, coupled with a proven background in organising activities and events.
Core Skills & Qualities: Effective verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude toward older people, and a deep commitment to providing stimulating, quality social events.

Compliance: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required (cost met by Avery Healthcare) alongside proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
