Hours: Average 39 hours per week on a rota basis (includes 2–3 sleep-ins per week; role split is approximately 80% on-rota and 20% protected admin/leadership time)

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Five Rivers Child Care Ltd to recruit a dedicated Residential Children's Home Deputy Manager in Salisbury. This is an incredible opportunity to step up, support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operations of the home, and continue making a profound, lasting difference in the lives of children and young people.
The children in our care have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and developmental trauma, frequently facing inconsistency from adults in the past. Utilizing our Attachment and Trauma Informed Care (ATIC) model, you will provide much-needed stability, set clear expectations, and champion a culture where children are respected, heard, and actively involved in their own lives.
You will lead by example through relationship-based care, curiosity, empathy, and strong shift leadership, coaching your team to maintain exceptional standards of care and safeguarding.
Competitive Salary: £31,183 - £33,753 per annum depending on experience, plus an additional £50 per sleep-in.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a residential children's setting.
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), with a willingness to work toward the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management if not already achieved.
Regulatory Knowledge: A proven track record with Ofsted and a robust understanding of the legislative framework and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF).
Core Competencies: Confident in coaching others, leading shifts, and maintaining rigorous safeguarding standards.
Mobility: A full UK driving licence is essential due to the location of the home.
