As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Tennyson Wharf Care Home, you will provide vital cover for planned or unplanned absences while looking after the diverse needs of our residents. You will supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, support the clinical team in specialised areas such as medication, care plans, or reviews, and help maintain a warm, vibrant, and welcoming environment.
Team Leadership: Supervise, support, and inspire a dedicated team of Care Assistants during your shifts.
Clinical Support: Assist the clinical team in specialised areas including medication administration, care plan management, assessments, and care reviews.
Person-Centred Care: Deliver exceptional individualized care while always respecting the dignity, choices, and preferences of residents.
Flexibility: Work varied casual bank shifts (Days or Nights) to provide essential cover when needed.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Knowledge: Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
Personality: Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to delivering the highest standards of support. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential!
