Location: Tamworth (Home to a large, fast-paced picking depot making over 2,000 deliveries per day to major convenience retailers in the region)
Pay Rate: £13.95 to £15.10 per hour (£13.95 base rate + £1.15 extra for weekend work)
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 5 from 7 days, 13:30 to 22:00 (Includes weekend work and working in a cold store warehouse environment)

Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their busy Tamworth distribution depot, we are currently seeking a reliable and energetic Warehouse Operative for the afternoon shift to pick customer orders accurately using voice-picking technology for next-day delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking: Pick customer orders efficiently using 'voice pick' technology in a cold store environment, ensuring items are placed on appropriate delivery pallets and marked accurately on delivery notes.
Depot Maintenance & Organization: Ensure trays are stacked and stored in designated areas, log product shortages for management, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness across work areas.
Safety & Compliance: Work effectively under time-sensitive deadlines while ensuring all issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.
What We Are Looking For
Flexibility & Comfort: Full flexibility to work any 5 out of 7 days (including weekends) and comfort working in a chilled warehouse environment.
Experience: Previous experience as a warehouse operative or in a fast-paced logistics/picking role is highly advantageous.
