Position: Fixed Term Care Assistant — Nights (Maternity Cover, 12 Months, Starting September 2026)
Location: Claybourne, Stoke-on-Trent (ST6 6LA)
Hours: 39 hours per week (Nights)
Pay Rate: £13.79 per hour

Keyworker Duties: Act as a keyworker for a group of residents, supporting smooth admissions and individual care.
Care Planning: Participate in developing and reviewing individual care plans, including tailored support for residents living with dementia.
Personal & Social Care: Deliver attentive personal and social care that enhances residents’ physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing throughout the night.
Safety & Compliance: Uphold vital safeguarding responsibilities, infection control measures, and health & safety practices.
Compassion: A caring nature with genuine patience, empathy, and respect for older people.
Development Mindset: A willingness to learn and undertake training, with social care qualifications (Level 1 or 2) highly encouraged.
Communication: Good listening and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a trusted team.
Proximity: Ideally living within approximately 15 miles of Stoke-on-Trent for a manageable and balanced commute.
