Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our trusted defence and operations partners for a dedicated Operations Specialist Coordinator.
Based at the prestigious Defence Academy in Shrivenham (Swindon), you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of Station Headquarters activities. Providing vital coordination, administration, and governance support across a broad range of operational processes, your organisational skills, attention to detail, and relationship-building abilities will make a genuine, lasting impact across the organisation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective working relationships with Colleges, Groups, Station Headquarters, the Programme Management Office, and senior stakeholders.
Awards & Recognition: Coordinate honours, awards, citations, and recognition schemes, ensuring accurate submissions, records, and ceremony organisation.
MOD Administration: Coordinate and administer Ministry of Defence (MOD) trawl activities while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional standards.
Risk Management & Governance: Coordinate risk management activities, including the administration of the Active Risk Management (ARM) system, risk review meetings, and providing secretariat support to leadership forums.
Reporting & Task Tracking: Monitor and maintain the Defence Academy Headquarters Task Tracker, and prepare reports, presentations, and management information to support strategic decision-making.
Educational Foundation: Good general education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Administrative Experience: Proven background in administration with a solid understanding of professional office practices.
Digital Literacy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
Interpersonal Strengths: Confident communication skills with a collaborative, adaptable approach to delivering exceptional support in a changing environment.
Vetting Requirement: Must be willing and able to undergo and successfully obtain Security Clearance (SC), alongside completing an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
