Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a passionate and dedicated permanent Employment Specialist (Individual Placement and Support - IPS) to join their established service in Swindon.
In this rewarding role, you will help individuals in community substance use treatment find and sustain paid, preference-matched employment. By working closely with service users, clinical teams, local employers, and external partners, you will use the proven IPS approach to empower individuals through work, fostering independence, confidence, and long-term recovery.
IPS Delivery & Caseload Management: Support service users to secure and sustain competitive, preference-matched employment aligned with their recovery journeys.
Employer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers to create job opportunities, raise awareness, and advocate for clients.
Partnership Working: Collaborate closely with community health services, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate employment support into overall care plans.
Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, handle data collection, and report on IPS service outcomes and progression metrics.
Education & Experience: Educated to degree level or possessing equivalent relevant work experience.
Communication & Rapport: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to connect with individuals, particularly those affected by substance misuse.
Core Competencies: Proficient team-working and support strategies, an aptitude for data tracking, and a deep dedication to helping people achieve paid employment.
Requirements: Proactive and resilient professional. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days).
