Key Responsibilities
Deliver high standards of personal care throughout the night, assisting residents with all personal hygiene needs while ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
Monitor, recognise, and understand clinical risk areas in residents (such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infection), escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
Act courteously and respectfully toward residents and any visitors, upholding the dignity and individuality of each person.
Practice safe systems of work across a range of routine night-time tasks and remain flexible to support the care team's needs.
Person Specification & Requirements
Experience: Previous experience is not required, as Avery Healthcare provides a thorough induction and professional training programme to ensure your complete confidence on shift.
Core Skills & Qualities: Effective verbal and written communication skills, natural initiative, efficiency, and the flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
