Working as a permanent Night Care Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will help residents at Lanercost House feel secure and supported through the night. From assisting with personal care routines and following individual care plans to offering calm companionship during quiet hours, you will play an essential part in ensuring our residents' wellbeing and safety.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Provide compassionate, high-quality care and support to elderly residents through night shifts.
Assist with nighttime personal care routines, mobility support, and comfort needs.
Follow individual care plans accurately to maintain a safe, tranquil environment.
Deliver reassuring companionship and gentle support whenever residents need it.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Some previous experience in caring for older people.
A proactive, positive "can-do" approach to daily challenges.
Excellent communication skills and a natural, warm-hearted disposition.
Genuine empathy, resilience, and compassion.
