Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (30 hours per week + regular overtime)
We are partnering with the Co-op to recruit an ambitious and community-focused Customer Team Leader for their fast-paced store in Warrington. This is a brilliant opportunity to lead a small team, help deliver essential services, and take the next step toward retail store management.
Whether keeping shelves stocked, supporting daily store operations, or driving membership growth, you will play a vital role in making life easier for our customers.
Lead the Shift: Own the day-to-day running of the store on your shift, setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members on the shop floor and tills.
Coach & Motivate: Support, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional service and efficient store operations.
Store Performance: Maintain operational excellence through merchandising, stock accuracy, and basic HR processes.
Community & Membership: Champion the Co-op brand through local community engagement and membership growth.
Age Requirement: Must be aged 18+ (to authorise age-related sales).
Experience: A genuine passion for people and leadership. While retail, merchandising, or team management experience is a bonus, it is not essential—full training is provided!
Flexibility: A mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (either Friday after 6:00 PM, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday, with additional availability open for discussion at interview).
