Location: Norewood Lodge Bupa Care Home, 72 Nore Rd, Portishead, Bristol, BS20 8DU (Shifts will be across both Norewood Lodge & Elm View care homes)

Pay Rate: £18.41 - £21.48 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Bupa to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for a bank contract across Norewood Lodge and Elm View care homes near Bristol.
As a valued bank nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering person-centred care, supporting resident independence, and ensuring clinical excellence. Bupa provides complete training on advanced digital care systems, streamlining your workflows so you can focus entirely on resident wellbeing, clinical leadership, and upholding the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Taking full responsibility for the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents.
Managing unit operations alongside clinical duties, including overseeing care, administering and ordering medication, and reviewing care plans.
Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans.
Coaching and guiding the care team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and professionals.
Monitoring work areas to ensure compliance with standards, policies, and legislation, playing an essential part in CQC readiness.
Requirements & Qualifications
A valid NMC pin with active registration.
Previous experience maintaining high clinical standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies.
Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills to build meaningful connections with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong critical thinking skills, self-reliance, and calmness under pressure—especially when managing night shifts or emergency situations.
