About the Role
As a Drainage Team Administrator, you will be an essential part of the North Northants team based in Brixworth, providing vital administrative support to keep our daily drainage and highways operations running safely and efficiently. Reporting directly to the Network Manager and working closely with the Drainage Supervisor, you will ensure our workflows remain compliant, well-coordinated, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and program reactive works tickets to guarantee completion within established service level agreements (SLAs).
Handle daily administration tasks, including closing site visits and tracking outstanding or ongoing works.
Manage road space bookings and ensure full adherence to requirements and regulations.
Record traffic management details and respond promptly to Fix My Streets updates.
Maintain accurate daily records of personnel and vehicles, providing crucial support to the team during severe weather events.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience working in a fast-paced administrative role where priorities shift quickly.
Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Confident verbal communication skills and proficiency across a range of IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive, problem-solving approach with the initiative to meet tight deadlines.
Previous knowledge of highways or drainage operations is a bonus, though an eager willingness to learn about the industry is just as welcome—transferable skills are highly valued here!
